After a stint at Guilford College, majoring in Business Administration, he turned to his true calling and graduated from William and Mary (Richmond Professional Institute) then part of W&M - now Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Commercial Art. Parker nfant son of Lavonda Mckoy of Kelly and Johnny Adams, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Bladen County Hospital, Elizabethtown. on February 25, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Samuel Marvin Layton Sr. Margaret and her husband George Croft Baltzegar, Jr. After her husbands death in 1953, Margaret continued working with Southern Bell until her retirement in 1982.
